TAG is a registered Scottish Charity and is a member of N.A.R.E.S. Its main constitutional aim is to bring to wider public attention to Scotland's rich Roman cultural heritage, an aspect of the nation's history hither to much less well known than this richness would suggest and deserves.

The group has an administrative structure, constitution, health & safety policy and set of rules pertinent to a modern charitable organisation. At the same time these are used to demonstrate Roman military and civilian life as accurately in form, dress and function as safely as possible within modern law.

One of our main future aims is to develop a major nexus locale, focal point, cultural tourism development project called The First Frontier Project.
